PlayZone Daytime Birthday Parties
Our birthday parties are fantastic whatever the age of your child. Lots of physical fun, a choice for the entire party of either individual hot meals or a buffet for everyone and your own dedicated party host for the party meal. All you need to do is relax and enjoy your child’s birthday celebrations!
Your party package includes downloadable invitations HERE , 1 ½ hours on the play equipment and then for the last 30 minutes all your guests will be taken to one of our party rooms for the party meal. There is a choice of either hot food where each guest chooses their own meal from an extensive selection or a birthday buffet for the entire party. There’s unlimited squash for the duration of the party and an ice lolly to finish. All we ask is that you bring your own cake and party bags, (please click HERE to see our policy on birthday cakes) but we will take care of the cake cutting ceremony and wrap it all up for your guests to take away.
Here are details of the food choices:
Hot Food Party (£11.95 per child - only available for daytime parties)
Choice of beef burger, cheese burger, chicken nuggets, hot dog, fish fingers, veggie fingers or sausages (all served with fries) OR you can have pasta served in a tomato sauce with cheese.
Birthday Buffet (£12.95 per child - available for daytime and private hire parties)
A selection of sandwiches, chicken nuggets, pizza slices, cocktail sausages, crisps, biscuits and a fresh fruit platter. (guide only, may vary subject to availability)
We can also cater for special dietary requirements by prior arrangement. We will be as flexible as possible to ensure your perfect party experience at PlayZone.
Payment & Booking;
Our daytime parties are subject to a minimum number of 8 guests if you book the smaller room which will hold between 8 and 12 children and a minimum of 13 applies if you book our larger room which holds between 13 and 24 children. Price per head is £10.95 for a hot food party and £11.95 for a cold buffet and is subject to a non-refundable / non-transferable 50% deposit at time of booking when you will be asked for your choice of either a hot food party or birthday buffet. We will provide you with a link to an online form where you can provide us with a list of attendees and, if applicable, their food choices. It helps us enormously with our organisation if this information is provided to us no later than 3 days prior to your party and you will be charged according to the number confirmed at this time, subject also to the overall minimum for the time slot initially chosen.
The price includes for 2 adults with the party free of charge. Additional adults and additional children who wish to stay and are not on the list of those booked are charged our normal admission rates. If you or any of your friends are planning on staying or bringing older or younger siblings for a play at the same time we highly recommend they are booked in online to the corresponding play session as we cannot guarantee admission for anyone who has not pre-booked.
Playzone Evening Private Hire
We are now offering private events as follows:
Private Birthday Parties (for children up to 17 years of age)
You will have exclusive use of PlayZone. Starting at 6:15pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays you will have the choice of either a 90 minute party at £14.95 per child or a 2 hour party at £15.95 per child. There is a minimum number of children of 25. Both options include a Birthday Buffet (as described above) which will be served in the last 30 minutes of your party. There is no hot food option at our Private Hire Parties. A non-refundable / non-transferable deposit of 50% is payable at time of booking. We will require at least 2 adults to remain on site for the duration of the party. You will be contacted to confirm final numbers no later than 3 days prior to the party and will be charged according to the number confirmed at this time subject to the overall minimum of 25.
Private Hire - play only
Also either 90 minutes or 2 hours in duration these do not include Food and Drink and so are on a "play only" basis. Minimum number of attendees is 30, we can accomodate up to 200 and the pricing is detailed below. The maximum number set on our online booking system is 50, this is aimed at the birthday parties with food but once booked we will contact you to fine tune the event to meet your needs. The online booking option is there to enable you to guarantee yourself the time slot of your choosing. A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of £5 per person is payable at time of booking. If all attendees are aged 18 and Over we will not expect additional adults to remain on site but we will expect there to be a "group organiser" who will remain responsible for the group for the duration of the group's visit.
Private hire pricing: 90 minute option: £11 per head, 30 people minimum.
2 hour option:30-50 people -£12 per head, 51-75 people - £11 per head, 76-100 people - £10 per head, 100+ - £9 per head.
To book any of our party options select the date you would like from the calendar below, our daytime parties start every 30 minutes, the first of the day starts at 10:30am, the last 4:00pm and the private hire parties at 6:15pm on weekdays (excluding Tuesdays).
